In October 2010 Mom and I went to the Collins group show and did an awesome Make N Take hosted by Prima Marketing, we made Mini Trees. It was the start of the Christmas Season so of course we made a Christmas Tree, but with each season we have changed the papers we have used. We like doing this Make N Take in the store, because its fun and relatively easy. After many requests for the measurements and instructions I have placed them here:
Ingredients:
1 – 6″ lollipop stick
1 3/4 inch spool
1 sheet of cardstock or 2 if you want alternating patterns (2 pieces will make 2 trees)
1 circle at each of the following measurements:
5 3/4″ , 5″, 4″, 3″, 2″ and a 3″ scallop
2 or 4 flowers
Glitter
Rhinestones
Hot Glue Gun and extra sticks
Ranger Perfect Pearls Mist
First we begin by folding all of our circles the same way. We will be folding the paper 8 times, creating a smaller piece of pie each time. When you get to the end (you won’t be able to fold the paper any further) and unfold the paper it will look like this:
We did our folds in order to get the creases, not all of the creases are going in the correct direction. This is the tricky part. We want to look at the side of your circle and make valleys and mountains. When you are done the side of your circle will look similar to this:
Your circle will now resemble a “skirt”.
